We are honored to welcome Mr Peng Su in Cambridge, where he will run a workshop on traditional Chinese painting and calligraphy.
Peng Su started practising traditional Chinese painting from an early age with his great-grandpa Baozhang, an artist and photographer. Peng Su is now based in Exeter, Devon.

The workshop is open for beginners as well as experienced practitioners.
We will start from an introduction into calligraphy, which is considered to be a gateway into Chinese painting. We will write some simple 4 character phrases and our names.
We will then proceed with painting basic subject matters such as bamboo, orchid and blossom. For those with a bit of experience, we will add some birds/insects to complete the composition.
