Colour of the year

Pantone recently announced their colour of the year as Ultra Violet:

traditional chinese violet tones are made by mixing eg: Indigo Blue 酞菁蓝 + Red 胭脂 + Pearl White 蛤白

or use a ready-mixed purple as a base:

Jiang SiXu Tang Chinese Paints 30 ml Purple 紫色

Of course, the colour of the year in China will always be red.
