Antiguo Hu Kai Wen es el fabricante de tinta mas prestigioso de China. Se creó en el siglo 18 y era un proveedor de tinta a la Familia Imperial de China en la dinastía Qing. Se ofrece productos de alta calidad que se hacen con la artesanía muy tradicional.
La escritura china sobre la caja se deletrea “China Sheyan”, Sheyan significa piedra para tinta que proviene de Shexian, Huizhou, que es un tipo de los más buscados de Inkstone. Este tipo de piedra es muy liso y se puede maximizar la calidad de la tinta, manteniendo la tinta hidratada y delicada.

My first ink stone (the last one I had was plastic). It’s very smooth and quite large.
It has a large surface for grinding and a large well for dipping small to relatively large sized brushes.
I could not be happier with this, as the brushes I have been using are quite large I can submerge them in ink easily with this stone. It’s absolutely perfect.
Note; I put a regular sized brush in the picture to show a size comparison.

Beautiful stone! The support and communication from inkston was amazing as my stone was challenged by the pandemic first in China and then in the rest of the world. It took a long time to get it due to the virus but well worth the wait.

Muy buena relación calidad-precio, y desde luego mi mejor piedra por ahora, de todas las q tengo. Echaría en falta alguna piedra con tapa para q la tinta se seque más lentamente. Un placer trabajar con ella.

For me, it has the beauty of being a treasure of royal lineage. My attraction to Chinese culture and history is related to a tradition that revers beauty as a an end in itself . And wine. The ancient scholars understood the value of wine. So do I. This inkstone is like a fine glass of scholarly Chinese wine. Perhaps, this inkstone could hold a fair amount of wine. As a service to my fellow Inkston customers, I will experiment with the capacity of my fine, useful, practical, inkstone’s ability to hold and service an adult beverage, similar to the one I am presently imbibing, and report to you it’s success or failure.
