  • Everything in the other reviews is correct: beautiful color. Also, it has a beautiful aroma. However, I will be inquiring about buying aged Jin Bu Yi inkstick in order to be able to grind the ink faster. My inkstick has existential concerns about leaving this life. Coincidentally, so do I. The prospect of death is something I find odious. I will try reading Zhuangzi to it. However, I fear that my little Jin Bu Yi will be like me and resist the loss of identity as he (yes, my inkstick is gendered) loses his identity as he continues the life cycle. Bottom line: buy this inkstick and enjoy the little panda brush rest.

  • Je voulais tester depuis longtemps une telle encre et je dois dire que je suis agréablement satisfait, le bâton est d’une incroyable dureté, malgré qu’il soit crevassé, preuve de sa vieillesse, mais en même temps, il suffit de le frotter sur la pierre, en faisant 5 ronds et nous avons de quoi remplir une demi page A4. Les artisans du siècle dernier avaient des méthodes tout à fait éprouvées et leurs encres étaient de très grande qualités. De plus le vendeur est vraiment sympa, il m’a envoyé à mon atelier, sans que je ne lui demande rien, tous les échantillons des papiers qu’il fabriquent dans un bel écrin en carton noir. J’ai aussi acheté chez eux, le portique à pinceaux, la pierre à encre à encre ronde avec couvercle, la pince à encre et une série de pinceaux, tout est de très grande qualité.
