These are thick intense colors that tend to be opaque but can be diluted.This yellow is quite bright and only a little is needed to brighten a picture. Unless doing a large oversized mural , I feel this generous quantity will last through many paintings.I have already used it in several painting and am very pleased with the results.I ordered two colors but plan to order other colors soon.

Currently have the 18 piece set. And plan on ordering the 24 color set too after buying this! The colors sometimes look a little bit different from the tubes, but this was no problem. The colors themself look amazing! It’s great for painting flowers and animals and the 18 piece set has enough diversity to create beautiful artworks! ! You can put it into a container and when it dries up re apply water to use it again. For painting flowers with gradients such as peony, I do recommend using «fresh paint» from the tube so it’s easy to make the gradient on your plate and then applied it to the brush.
