After using this vise for several days, I am very happy with it. It turns very smoothly but is quite stable when carving. It is so much easier to use than the stationary vise I used previously. That one held stones well, but turning them was awkward. This one is easy to use, solidly made, and I expect to use it for years.

Un très bon étau: sa conception en deux étages facilite le travail (on peut tourner le sceau mais il ne bouge pas lorsque l’on grave). Je ne suis pas une spécialiste mais je n’ai pas eu de difficultés pour obtenir un bon résultat (je ne l’ai reçu qu’hier!).
Il vaut largement son prix!A very good vise with a great conception (you can turn your seal but it doesn’t move when you are carving). It is really worth its price.
