Artist Seal — Bu A Weng 不阿翁

This is the chance for you to get a personalized seal designed and hand-carved by artist Bu A Weng 不阿翁 who has been carving seals since the 1980s. Each seal is signed by the artist and beautifully packaged.

When you order this product you can submit your design ideas (as text or pictures) and the artist will produce a design based on his interpretation of your design ideas.

Typically the design may consist of either:

• a pair of chinese characters, for example a name:  normally the artist will create a design based on a traditional chinese script type which allows an appropriate rendering for the characters chosen.  You may also request a particular style.
• an emblem, this could a lotus flower or other traditional emblem, or whatever design you like just tell us your idea and the artist will consider a design for you.

The seal price reflects the artist's work, there is no separate charge by size/type stone: rather the artist will choose the stone size/type he feels is appropriate for the design.  The design is also very much affected by the shape and natural veins of the stone.  Please note that both the design and stone are unique and made just for you, so please allow 2 weeks for the design and carving.
