Materials

Light & fast growing Bamboo is used as a construction material, as food, to make paper, to make stems for brushes, and as a traditional subject for painting.

The surface of the hair is coarse so it absorbs a lot of ink, the brush is good for both smooth writing and expressing different effects.  Often known as Badger brush from its common Chinese name 石獾 Shi Huan “Stone Badger”.

  • How can get this with free shipping to North America?

      Thanks a lot for your message! Normally we have free shipping to North America for orders over $150. However, during the covid-19, we have increased the free shipping bar to $200. The brush has a free handling fee; so you will only pay base postage.   • a lovely speciality brush
    This is a lovely stiff brush with long bristles. I liked it enough that I ordered another so that I would have one for ink and one for watercolor. Not the first choice for a beginner or for someone who is able to purchase only a few brushes but a lovely speciality brush.
