This is fine 49 gsm paper, in 70 * 138 cm. Linen fibre is added in the paper’s raw materials and the paper is yellowish.
It is suitable for calligraphy since the paper ‘bites’ ink very well. The paper itself is raw paper but it shows effects of ‘half-cooked’ Xuan paper.

Specially handmade paper with traditional recipes. This paper is added with natural linen. Although it is not sized, it shows natural half-cooked effects. We would recommend this for calligraphy purposes because this paper absorbs, or we say ‘bites ink’ in Chinese, very well.
The paper’s colour is natural yellow beige and is not chemically modified. It shows a natural aged appearance.

Ce papier répond très bien à mes attentes et offre un super rendu ; cependant je ne peux me permettre d’acheter 25 feuilles qui représentent pour moi un investissement et surtout une trop grande quantité

Great paper, it’s consistent, easy to use and control, good for both ink and color, has a very soft feel about it, very few wrinkles when used, and easy to dry mount. My favorite paper, lots of it in the roll so it’s great value.

The quality of this paper is also very high and it looks perfect. It is very good for pasting of the back. Although, because of the lower grammage you need to have good manipulation skills.

This is a very fine, exceptional paper to work with. The paper behaves in a different way from Xuan paper and is a delight to paint on. I will be buying several more rolls of this excellent, very high quality paper in future.
