A top high quality handmade paper.
Specially handmade paper with traditional recipes from Song Dynasty. It is very similar to Japanese washi paper. It is raw paper but it is very easy to control. It contains very high percentage of Pteroceltis Tatarinowii tree bark fiber.
The paper is absolutely white. On the paper, there is also a lattice shaped watermarking from the frame where the paper is made. It is the same as the Song Aged Appearance Luo Wen (lattice shaped watermarking). The only difference is the colour.
Great paper, it’s consistent, easy to use and control, good for both ink and color, has a very soft feel about it, very few wrinkles when used, and easy to dry mount. My favorite paper, lots of it in the roll so it’s great value.
Great communication beautiful written letter. just all in all what I was looking for❤️ nice thickness of the paper very well done. I could a erase and not that much fiber comes out. My ink was very well absorbed by the paper. Thank you so much❤️ I am a loyal customer. All in all great experience and great purchase.
1er rouleau de papier reçu aujourd’hui (plus d’une semaine en avance, bravo !). Ce papier “corn silk” est magnifique et je vais le tester dès demain avec une petite calligraphie en herbe folle.
The quality of this paper is also very high and it looks perfect. It is very good for pasting of the back. Although, because of the lower grammage you need to have good manipulation skills.
The Ancient Linen is very different but amazing quality – so much better than the ‘bark’ papers I have bought before in the UK. I think it will work very well for landscape and calligraphy.
This is a very fine, exceptional paper to work with. The paper behaves in a different way from Xuan paper and is a delight to paint on. I will be buying several more rolls of this excellent, very high quality paper in future.
